The double room at Sandy Edge in Kalpitiya was cozy and welcoming, with a private entrance that made us feel like we had our own little hideaway. The room had a seating area and a comfy sofa, perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring.

I personally found the patio in the double room to be a bit small for my liking. However, I understand that others might still find it enjoyable for a quiet morning coffee or an evening drink.

Superfriendly owners who make you feel at home. Nice location just 5 minutes from the beach. Less windy compared to other areas in the region. Unique experience staying in a lovely house. Good quality food. Highly recommended for travelers wanting a great experience with nature

The houses and garden were stunningly beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to organize fun activities like kite surfing lessons and dolphin watching. The traditional Sri Lankan food served for breakfast and dinner was mouth-watering. The staff were especially friendly and accommodating towards our 3-year-old son. the service was excellent, with friendly English-speaking staff. Prasanna was a fantastic host and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and sociable. It was truly a hidden gem and we wish we could have stayed for another two weeks!
